Regimen Guide

This guide has been to offer suggestions on how to combine multiple formulations from The Ordinary in a single regimen. 

In general terms, water formulations should be applied before oil formulations and we recommend using a maximum of three serum formulations in a single regimen. 

The table below offers a summary on how our formulations can be combined into a regimen:

Example Regimens

Example regimen for general signs of age:


PM

"Buffet", Granactive Retinoid 2% or 5% in Squalane, 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil 

Always avoid unprotected solar exposure.

Example regimen for pigmentation issues:


Note: Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F can be applied in the PM before Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% for added support.

Example regimen for dehydration:


Note: Alternatively, 100% Cold-Pressed Virgin Marula Oil or 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Moroccan Argan Oil can be used instead of 100% Plant-Derived Squalane in the PM.

Example regimen for signs of congestion & the look of blemishes:


Note: For non-comedogenic surface hydration, apply 100% Plant-Derived Squalane as the last step in the AM and PM.

Example regimen for textural irregularities:

Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution, Granactive Retinoid 2% or 5% in Squalane

Note: AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution can be applied as a masque up to twice per week in the PM.
