The Ordinary is an ever changing collection of skincare products built for many skin types; with the correct routine, it can help you combat numerous skin conditions and problems.

Everyone has different needs when it comes to their skincare. From a regular routine, both morning and night, to a more focused approach if you have sensitive skin or skin prone to acne, The Ordinary can set you up with a regime to work with any skincare needs and routines.

After cleansing with your facial cleanser of choice, use your water based The Ordinary products first to kick off your routine. After these, you can use your oil based products and creams.

Start off with The Ordinary Buffet to tackle the visible signs of aging, then gently pat and apply The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG to your eye contours to help with puffiness and dark circles. Follow these up with The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors for deep hydration and moisture. You can use this moisturiser both morning and night, or swap nights out for The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil for a stronger focus on anti-aging skincare in your daily routine.

Your daily evening routine can match your morning one, with The Ordinary Buffet and The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG followed by either The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors or The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil after you’ve completed your water based skincare.

Following your regular daily routine, if you have blemishes that you’d like to reduce try The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% Plus Zinc 1%. It helps to reduce the look of blemishes and balance sebum activity; keep in mind this isn’t an acne treatment. Chronic sufferers should find alternative methods to clear their skin. Apply morning and evening before heavier creams. If you’re using a Vitamin C product like our Vitamin C Suspension 30% in Silicone, then use the Vitamin C in the am and the Niacinamide in the evening so they don’t negatively interact with each other.
