Keep Your Skin Young and Still Enjoy the Sun

Our last post shared with you our Summer Safety Guide to a Bonza Summer. This week we want to focus on something a little more specific. Wherever you live, we know that summer means good times at the beach or on the patio, feeling healthy and happy as you enjoy the company of the fairer sex or a few of your mates for a day of adventure outside. But the sun can take its toll on your skin and on your health if you don’t protect yourself. Pureman and our friends over at Mecca have an awesome selection of skincare products designed to do just that. We’ve made it easy for you to find what you need to protect your skin from the sun. Keep in mind these aren’t all sunscreens, so be sure to slather on the lotion as needed, as well. Check out our list of men’s skincare products below.

  1. American Crew All-in-1 Facebalm: This daily moisturizer is anti-aging and is SPF 15. Just smooth into your skin after your morning shave and this helps fight redness, signs of fatigue and aging as well as ingrown hairs. Pretty good package, I’d say!

  2. Dermalogica Solar Defense Booster: This SPF 50 sunscreen with vitamins E and C to help boost the SPF also contains grape seed and green tea extracts to help soothe the skin. Great for the ladies or the gents.

  3. Baxter of California’s Hydro Salve Lip Balm: Nobody likes dry, cracked, sun damaged lips. Use this to keep yours soft and hydrated. The minty fresh flavour is a bonus!

  4. Mecca Cosmetica To Save Face: This mineral gel cream is SPF 30 and is great for sensitive skin. We think of it as an awesome skin care product and sun lotion in one, and its universal peach tint means you won’t be left with any awkward white streaks.

  5. Hunter Lab’s Anti-Ageing Elixir: This awesome elixir helps to restore sun damaged skin and reduce the signs of premature aging with its blend of macadamia, avocado and passionfruit seed oils.

Now get out there and catch a few rays - while keeping your skin happy and healthy.
